Dr. Arup K. Chandra is a highly respected leader in research and development with over 40 years of experience in the tyre, rubber, and carbon black industries. He holds dual post-graduate degrees in Chemistry and Rubber Technology (IIT Kharagpur), along with a Doctorate in Rubber Technology. A Chartered Chemist and Chartered Chemical Engineer, Dr. Chandra has worked extensively across India and international markets, contributing to both tyre and non-tyre sectors of the rubber industry.

His deep expertise covers compound formulation, process optimization, product design, and performance improvement. He has successfully led numerous R&D projects related to tyres, industrial rubber goods components. Renowned for his technical insight, leadership, and commitment to innovation, Dr. Chandra continues to guide industries toward sustainable, high-performance polymer solutions through knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and industry collaboration.
